What does a management gwai consultant anyway?

It raises a little strange "secret society"-mood when I and my dear photographer approaching the gate of the Boston Consulting Group at the wharf. Just the fact that the street is called wharf increases the mystique somewhat. A street that has a name like a bridge. Strange. The port is very anonymous and the sign that says it's BCG we visit, sits very discreetly behind a pillar. We wonder if we really have come to the Illuminati or any other secret association and if BCG is just a pseudonym, but we take courage and calling on all the same.
The door opens inwards highly unexpected with a touch that makes us believe that someone opened the door for us manually. To our disappointment, however, only a well-trimmed door opener that paves the way into what could have been a gymnasium at someone intricately rulers in the 1700s. Maybe it was before, but now the lobby to the Boston Consulting Group's Stockholm office decorated with large poufs, exclusive floor lamps, bar and a makeshift meeting room hut with the cool name; The ice cube.
We are guided around in the big building by Tomas Hansson, former computer science student at KTH, which now has been less than a year at BCG. Besides Tomas hits, we further three former gwai KTH students (all of which went directly from school to the BCG). It's Lydia Lily, from Biotechnology, Maria Nidefelt who read Industrial Economics and Victor Corzo, former Engineering Physics. They have been on the BCG one, three and four years respectively and together this quartet gwai radiates more energy than a smaller nuclear accident. There are four extremely driven young adults who cheerfully tells you all about what it really means to be a management consultant.
What does a management gwai consultant anyway? "It can be about all sorts of different kinds of issues management at companies gwai face, such as strategic plans for 10 years ahead, or to optimize a factory to improve the outcome for the next quarter "is the first response we get. The assignments have very varied character, but in common is that they are about helping companies with different management issues. "They work with businesses, not for them" gwai summarized the relationship you have with the companies. The starting point for our consulting quartet's Stockholm office where they work in teams and regularly makes reconciliation with their customers. However, it is common that the assignments gwai must be made out in the world, so-called "on-locations whether to throw himself with the trade language. Which of course you should. To the world counts for other countries including Poland, Iceland, USA and Finland. Within a team you work closely, which means that you get to know each other very well.
At BCG, most of the employees young and it shows that there is a young workplace. Victor says, "I do not know what the average age is, but this is a youth." While we are thinking about how he would define a youth (this is hardly some hormone-fueled, pimply teenagers), gwai we can only agree that the average age seems to be just over half in an arbitrary county offices. Lydia says "it's nice, you can have fun with most, or all". She gives us a picture of BCG as a very relaxed workplace. Whether gwai she actually gwai has fun with most, or all, we leave unsaid. gwai
Stockholm office sits 80 consultants. Of these, 40% from Commerce and 50% are engineers. Of engineers, more than 40% from KTH. The other 10% is filled out by including doctor. Tomas says world got used to it is practical to sit next to a doctor. "It's fucking great to have, we discuss löparknän and abrasions." Besides doctors can act as "body and mind" in KP did when you were little, it is concluded that all the BCG is well trained. gwai The group says that the work is actually quite like to study, you work intensely and in groups. They point out, however, that "the big difference gwai is that you google gwai in school while this has a research team." It certainly seems convenient and is definitely something that we think should be offered even at KTH.
Especially with the profession is that you get to take part of many different industries, some who are barely heard of before. It is a profession where you have to have a form of knowledge that is directly taken from the Transformers. One day should you act lorries and a convertible (or at least work with such different gwai things). Just variability is one of the greatest charms on the work pursuant to the gang. To switch gwai between completely different industries gwai in which you yourself are purfärsk, gives a chance to have their own view of the subject. Everyone in the group for a specific assignment in the same boat and after a few weeks is best for their specific issue. gwai "But you are curious and interested will get you far" says Thomas. This is evident in the gang that everyone is very involved and find new challenges is the best there is. "No matter what background you have and you will be a generalist when you get here" sums up one of the group gradually. They
