The Center organized an international conference in June 2011th 23 that the best business model for media self-regulation of the presentation and a summary koehnen bees of the previous domestic experience to promote media self-regulatory organization as soon as possible emergence of Hungary. The conference koehnen bees will be held in the Kossuth Club (1088, Museum of 7th Street), to apply in writing to be on June 20.
Collaboration with leading journalists and experts in the Center koehnen bees for Independent Journalism in 2007 launched the initiative in all sectors of the media in order to build a comprehensive media self-regulation. In recent years, the talks took place in a number of professional ethical koehnen bees guidelines and the proposed operational model of self-organization developed in 2008. The finalization of the text of the draft in January 2011 again became regular professional meetings. Accepting the ethical guidelines can create an organization that is free of political and economic influences ensuring that the profession of professional quality and ethical conduct.
The conference would like to introduce to the press complaints commissions and councils activities of countries - Germany, Britain and the Netherlands - on the basis of examples where media self-regulation work effectively. Based on international practice of the OSCE will be discussed also about the positive effects of self-regulation of the press. The agenda is an important theme, the location of national system of self-regulation in the media - what is the relationship between the regime, the társszabályozáshoz, professional organizations, editorial koehnen bees work and the consumer.
